Nothing quite expresses the warmth of autumn like orange, rust, and gold hues together. With these handcrafted earrings you'll get rust-orange carnelian gemstones and fall-motif handmade brass charms in a vintage gold patina. They are lightweight, small dangles that will flutter and dance like autumn leaves and bring the same kind of smile to your face when you wear them.

I used ⅝ inch brass discs to make charms for these earrings. I stamped a design of leaves around the perimeter and some overlapping spirals in the middle. I imagine the leaves tossed in an eddy of wind, spiraling their way to the ground.I hammer-textured the edges of the charms and domed them a bit. After applying patina I polished them again for an antique golden glow.

Wired in 22 gauge red brass wire, the charms dangle beneath 5x8mm faceted carnelian rondelle. Ear wires are also red brass, 20 gauge.
