Minimalist and geometric-modern in silhouette, these copper wire threader earrings feature genuine turquoise cylindrical and spherical beads with thin copper discs. 

The smooth round turquoise tubes measure about 3.5 x 6mm. They present a swirl of blue and green hues with a brown matrix that is so appealing and natural and looks especially at home with the antiqued copper. I strung a 3mm faceted turquoise round, a stack of 3 African copper heishi, and the turquoise tube on copper wire with a forged and hammered paddle shape at the bottom. I then shaped the wire into the all-in-one earring/ear wire. 

There is quite a bit of handwork in these little adornments, the most meticulous is additional hardening by hammering the wires after the stones are in place. It’s a little scary, but the end result is a quite joyful everyday pair. These minimalist earrings make a brilliant gift for any woman, any occasion. We all need some tiny joy in our days, don't we?
